Choosing where and what to study can be hard and complicated. We like to make things easy for you though and using our search tool you can find the perfect course, university and country in just a few clicks. 

But how do we do it? And what does ‘best match’ actually mean? 

Information is key

First, let’s talk about the data. We have a dedicated in-house team that collect details about courses from different institutions. This means we can bring all the information together in one place to help you make the best choice. Using our search and filter tools, you tell us about yourself; including what your recent qualifications are, where you’re from and what you’re looking to study. We then take that information and provide you with a list of courses and universities that should all be a good fit. The extra special ones, the ones that match your specifications exactly, will be labelled ‘best match’ so that you can clearly see which universities will be perfect for you. 

Important to note

So, what else do you need to know? Well firstly, you’ll notice that some universities don’t have the ‘best match’ label beside them but they’re still in your list. This just means the course provider hasn’t listed detailed entry requirements on their website and therefore might be more flexible about admitting people to their courses. It can also happen for this reason that there are no best matches in your list at all. Don’t give up though; these courses are still relevant to you based on your search criteria, and might well be a good fit too so it’s still worth considering them.

It’s also worth being aware that unfortunately this search tool is only available to people in certain countries, where we are able to get the latest qualification data. So, if you don’t get any best matches in your list, it might be that you’re located somewhere where the tool isn’t available. You’ll still get a list of universities and courses that suit the information you’ve given us, but we’re not able to match the entry requirements in this case.
